Safety Week 2025: Raising the Bar for Construction Safety at West Coast Partitions
At West Coast Partitions, safety isn’t just a protocol, it’s a promise. As we celebrate Construction Safety Week 2025, we’re doubling down on the values that have made our job sites among the safest in the industry. Our approach is proactive, consistent, and constantly evolving with new standards, technologies, and insights. We invest in training, enforce compliance, and foster a team mentality where everyone looks out for each other. In a field like construction, where conditions change daily and precision is everything, safety must be intentional and culture-driven.
Built on Safety: Recognized for Excellence
We’re proud to share that our team was named Safe Subcontractor of the Month — not once, but twice — at one of the largest job sites in the state. This recognition is a direct result of our field teams’ dedication to proactive management, open communication, and constant vigilance. It’s a testament to the way our crew shows up every day, focused, prepared, and committed to each other’s well-being.
What Construction Safety Looks Like in Action
Construction safety is complex. From framing to drywall installation to working at heights or in tight interior spaces, every task presents unique risks. At West Coast Partitions, we mitigate those risks by embedding safety into every stage of the project:
Pre-Task Planning: Before any work begins, we identify potential hazards and outline safe work procedures.
Daily Safety Meetings: Our foremen lead daily safety meetings to discuss potential hazards, review safety protocols, and reinforce a culture of communication and accountability.
Personal Protective Equipment: The basics, but always essential. PPE might seem like a basic requirement, and it is, but it’s also one of the most important. That’s why we never compromise on it. Hard hats, high-visibility vests, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and fall arrest gear are required on all WCP projects.
EMR That Speaks for Itself: Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) reflects our strong safety record. It’s not just a number, it’s a reflection of our disciplined approach to job site safety.
Fall Protection Compliance: Whether it’s proper harness use, guardrails, or ensuring tie-off points, we exceed standards because falls remain the leading cause of injury in construction.
Rigging & Material Handling: We train our teams to move materials with precision and care, reducing risk and increasing efficiency.
Housekeeping & Access: Keeping job sites clean and organized to prevent slips, trips, and obstruction hazards.
Safety Observations & Audits: Frequent checks, peer-to-peer reviews, and open feedback loops help us catch and correct unsafe behaviors before incidents occur.
A Safer Future is a Stronger Future
As we observe Construction Safety Week 2025, we celebrate the progress we've made and reaffirm our commitment to continuous improvement. We are motivated to keep raising the standard. We’re proud of our crews. We’re proud of our partnerships. We’re proud to lead by example in making construction safer, not just for ourselves, but for the industry at large.
Scott Beron Safe Subcontractor of the Year Award
West Coast Partitions is pleased and honored to have accepted the 2021 Scott Beron Safe Subcontractor of the Year Award from RYAN Companies. Safety is the top priority and our #1 core value at WCP. We can’t thank RYAN enough for hosting an incredible event and for recognizing our safety efforts!
2021 Shake N Bake
Last week, we came together for our annual SHAKE N BAKE charity event. Every October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we race for a cure and bring awareness to this great cause.
It means so much to us that our friends and family could partake and we appreciate everyone who made it out this year. We enjoyed the smiles, laughter, and mud-filled day!
We look forward to the future of this event and have so much in store for next year!

Announcing Our New Office!
WCP is excited to announce the construction of our new office! The new building will have a 14,000 SF Pre-Fab shop and an additional 10,000 SF material and storage area. As we grow, we want our office to allow for collaboration and advanced presentation and training functions.
Some exciting features that will accomplish this include DIRTT Walls with state-of-the-art AV glass panels, high-end offices, a new break room, custom ceilings, and exposed ceiling throughout, exposed concrete, as well as flooring treatment with two lounge areas. The open ceiling, exposed roof structure theme with a high-end modern twist will certainly make our place of collaboration exciting. The growth and the upgrade is exactly what we need to continue to take care of our workforce, clients and staff.
We are excited to welcome everyone with a party soon and look forward to sharing our vision with all of you!
